[OoC]- Awwe poor Shane. xD Nali doesn't talk about you anymore.
More responsible, Nali laughed silently. It seemed like the opposite. She was reckless nowadays, she never helped with tasks around the community, and she was often found screaming her head off at some innocent fairy girl or boy when they stared at her for too long. Yeah, right. She was the epitome of how not to act as an adult, was all.
She shook her head. "No, if I took it off, he would be...angry," Nali said, her eyes roving a bit up the wall as she tried to figure out a good way to put it. There were no words, really. It was a miracle that, from their brief visits (which would now not be so brief because of the marriage), Kassidy had not noticed. Not noticed the faint bruises on her collarbone, and on perhaps her left leg and right arm, and the fresh one on her thigh that hurt when she walked except she didn't show it. "He's passionate," Was all she said. She didn't want to--didn't need to--talk about it. Being too rough was better than being too gentle, as she noted from past experiences.
She turned her head upwards, and for a moment her delicate face shown behind the curtain of her hair. "I hated Magikus," Nali cut her off abruptly, crossing her arms over her chest. Truth was, Magikus felt like her second home. But it held too many painful memories of...him, and therefore, she hated it.
Her intense gaze softened just a bit. Her long fingers took up Kassidy's hands in her own and held them there for a moment. "You're doing wonderful as queen, Kass. Heck, if I was queen I wouldn't marry Viktor. I'd kill him. Reason being why I'm not and you are," She sighed softly, hoping to cheer her friend up just a little bit. But she wasn't very good at being...happy.
