[xD hahahah taylor would be like ' "omfg izarus get your white a.ss over here, right now!" *so emmbaressed but so turned on*' hahahaha]
Shane didn't really feel any indimidation against the other male. Although he was pretty big, the man wasn't acually even aware of what he was capable of. Sure he had some strength, but his acual talents had not been found out yet. He felt that even though Izarus would be a pretty good battle, Shane, and experienced vampire, would overmatch easily. But... that was just his philosophy. He gave a small laugh as Izarus ripped his jacket then complained a little. He gave a shrug the replied,
"Good.... Very...good."
He started out regular, though his voice trailed off as he looked around the place. He knew that heartbeat. He smelled her sent. He turned his head smoothly, looking past the croud to see...
Nali.
He kept his eyes locked on the woman.
Taylor noticed this and grabbed Izarus's arm. She put a finger over her lips giving him the sign to 'shut up and come'. She pulled him over to the rest of the group- whispering him to leave Shane alone. Not for being mean... but for the simple reason that Shane would not reply to any more questions. He was simply mezmorized.
Shane was. He stood there his head c.ocked to the side, his eyes laied upon her. She was...older. But age ment nothing to him. She was still...beautiful. Her long blackish blue hair, her pale fair skin, her black like wings. Her blood was the only sent that attracted him. Her heartbeat made him want to go closer. But no... not now... He acually ripped his gaze from her, for a split second to see who she was with. A handsome fairy, he looked nothing like Nali genetics wise. His eyes turned back to Nali, his cold heart wenched in two.
[omg poor shane!]

((That reminds me, the best doctor in the world has to be here! ^_^ Yay!!! Mrs Jagger in dah House!!!))
Curled blond hair drapped over pale shoulders, clear blue eyes scanning the room. She was actually diagnosing a few people. That person had a cut on their knee, and infected finger, the girl in the far corner had quite a number of covered hickies. The Vampires were still so strange to her. They were so cold! They weren't alive, but they moved around. If anything they had themselves covered in the healing department. What worried her most was the queen. She felt something seriously wrong with her, but didn't know what exactly yet. The Purple haired Pixie was suffering yet again from a broken heart, but he seemed fairly cheered up at the moment. She smiled, pink lips curving up and revealing her white teeth. She hadn't aged much, and that was good. She was wearing a long sparkling red dress along with a silver necklace that fell into a white nurse's cross that rested in the love V of the dress. She scanned the room again. Where was he?

Kassidy stared at Dax, lost in thought. She felt like she knew who this pixie was...like she'd met him before. The Queen opened her mouth to say something but he was allready leaving and she felt strangely unsatisfied, and alone. She felt tiny next to Victor, who felt like a solid stone next to her warmth. A cold stone. She blinked and for an odd surreal moment, the word seemed to have turned colourless, with the odd pixie at the center, pink and purple. Then it vanished and Kassidy moved her hand to grip Victor's arm as she felt the rush of vertigo fade. She felt colour flee out of her face and cast an illusion around herself to make herself look normal. -- Neil nodded at Dax, turning back to look at Kassidy again and catching a hint of weariness in the queen's face that was gone the next second. He shrugged and pulled the pixie away, "I think she remembers something." he muttered into his ear, "I saw something in her face... I'm going to try to talk to her soon. In a week or two." Neil straightened, and grabbed a cup of wine that was floating overhead, downing the whole thing in one gulp. "Sh.it, this day sucks." he groaned under his breath, letting the alcohol burn down into his stomach. "I hate weddings." --- Samantha whistled, impressed as the clone formed himself. "That's impressive! Hello um...Korrex, did you say?" she smiled and curtsied. "You're both brothers? And you live in the same body? I'd go half mad. Then again...I've got all the wind people talking at once. I suppose it's just a matter of ignoring each other when it suits you." Sam looked over the clone curiously through veiled eyes, so as not to make it too obvious she was interested. "Allthough it must be tough for you Korrex. I'd hate not having control of my own body."

Dax saw something in Kassidy's eyes, a small rush of magic and she looked better again as she grabbed Victor's arm. He gave her one last c.ocky smile as Neil and him wandered off. Neil grabbed a goblet of wine and Dax nodded, listening.
"I know what you mean. Even for a second, she just looked different. I dunno what we're spose to do, but we'll figure out something...I'd die for her. Even if she doesn't remember that I would."
Dax smiled. It was still a sad smile, but he seemed in better spirits. He was happy to be near her even if it felt like it was killing him. She didn't remember him, his name, his face, anything. But it felt like she was trying. As if her heart still kept a peice of him and was trying in vain to recall him. He touched his chest lightly over where his heart was beating, smiling. She seemed alright. He could only hope.
"Ha, try and cheer up Neil, it's a wedding. Gotta put on a cheerful face if only for the idiots roaming around eh?"
He grinned, hopping aside as a waiter almost ran into him. Bastard Fairies. He looked at the waiter, seeing his distain that Dax had moved. He should have expected some of them to try and ruin his evening.
~
Loki tugged on Jamie's hand, leading her out onto the dance floor and pulling her close in a sexy way. Jamie stared up slightly into his eyes, still trying to figure him out as he took her hand and put his other on her hip. Her free hand went up to his should and she smiled at him in a sort of 'you wont fool me' type of way before she laughed and they went twirling around, somehow avoiding bumping into the other dancers. Her hair changed from black to brown, eyes flickering to blue. She was just gonna be herself. If only for a second. The second stretch on to two seconds and then soft delicate wings sprouted from her back. They were odd looking but pretty. They swirled in light blues and pinks, looking like more of decoration that being able to fly. They looked fantastic and they glittered along like the prettiest of the fairy wings.

"I'd like to avoid the dying part, if that's possible." Neil snapped, in a bad mood. He lifted his glass and it automatically refilled with wine. The dolt shouldn't be feeling happy that Kassidy was up there marrying one of the most sadistic creatures on the face of Lordight! He glared at the people dancing without seeing them, and humphed. "And I certainly do not have to put on a cheerful face." he muttered grumpily, downing half of the whine in his glass moodily. "I'm the freaking Neil. And I don't do weddings." Which wasn't strictly true, but he was too annoyed to correct himself. He had finished the second glass and was midway through his third glass when he happened to catch sight of Jamie and Loki on the floor. Which only seemed to put him in a worse mood... "Well fine." he muttered angrily, saw the fairy from earlier and beckoned her over.
"Let's dance, beautiful." he murmured in the girls ear, winking at Dax and leading her onto the dance floor in a half drunken state. Somehow, he still managed to pull off amazing dance moves (while always ending up near Jamie and Loki in the most sensuous parts), and when the music came to an end he twirled the fairy off of the dance floor, his mood much improved. From across the room he caught Dax's eye and winked cheekily as he left the glade sneakily.

[Ooc]- I don’t know if there’s dancing yet or whatever, but this was how I imagined it…
The crowd was thinning out around them, couples joining hands and arms and lips with each other, dancing and laughing. Theo, in reference to his location next to his beloved, could feel the dimming of Nali’s bracelet as her tension increased. She was so wound up that when he rested his hand on her back she nearly jumped in surprise. “Nali?” He laughed, tilting his head so that his dark blonde hair fell over his left eye, “You okay?”
“No I am not oh-kay,” The fairy replied with the slight roll of her pretty blue eyes as he stared at her face. “This is so wrong, Theo! There’s lights and darks here, humans, and even…” Oh, crap. His heart sunk. You see, all night he had been standing in front of his girl, a little to right as to block her line of vision in a particular corner where a group of vampires stood. This was a very nice, almost too extravagant wedding, and he didn’t need her to see them and lose it and ruin the whole thing for the king and queen. And herself. He mostly cared about her, well, easily put—mental well being.
“…even pixies!” Nali shook her head and looked at the black ballet slippers that adorned her feet, completely missing the relieved look that crossed Theo’s face for a moment. But he knew it was only a matter of time before she saw and he would have to whisk her away back home. “How about a dance?” He asked charmingly, taking up both her hands before she could utter a word of defiance and pulling her into the arc of other swirling, tipping bodies, each doing a completely different dance to the exact same song.
She gave up. There was no hope now that she had her fingers locked in his and he was moving her daintily, like the stem of a flower in the hands of a child. She raised her feet to her tiptoes as they swirled with expertise and he dipped her, spun her, threw her and all the while her bracelet shined with the exuberance of it all. Her hair was tossed in her face, pushing back as the wind met with her features. The ribbons on her dress bounced and fluttered. The crowd spun in her head with each step, faster and faster until the faces were just multi-colored blots, unimportant as her mind prepared for each fleeting move.
Theo’s grip was stern as he brought her next to his right shoulder, against his chest. It was the pause in the song, the tension, the point where the dancing became the most tense and would then fall to the joyous resolution. Her breath was heavy, her gaze falling past his head and into the crowd. Everything was clear, was perfectly crystal with the sharp attention to detail that the force of her pulse was providing.
And there he was.
It was like a nightmare, a dream, and a flashback all at once. The curious expression in his beautiful eyes, the way he stood with such grace, his head tilted slightly to the side. The cold marble of his skin, his dark hair. Her vampire. There he was, just standing right there beyond the crowd. Nali’s eyes widened, and she felt her mouth go dry.
The song broke and people fell back into step. She numbly felt Theo pushing her out and then taking her wrist and placing his hand on her thigh to dip her. But she wasn’t prepared. She was dumbstruck. Her mouth was open just slightly, her eyes wide and blank. Her leg did not extend and her face did not present its beauty to her partner as he lowered her, and their dynamics were completely off because of her absent-mindedness. Her thin, frail hand slipped off of his back and he reached for her, but it was too late.
She cried out sharply as she hit the ground, shutting her eyes tightly and then opening them. It was solid and hard underneath her, and above the light was blocked out by a figure. She faintly heard Theo’s worried voice as he crouched beside her, gently lifting her hand and providing her back with support. “Princess, you alright? Nasty fall. It was completely my fault,” He said as she sat up.
“I’m fine,” She replied back, intending for it to sound accusative but instead it was pitiful and weak. Because it wasn’t his fault. It was someone else’s. The someone else that had dazzled her. She brought up her thin pale wrist to look at the bracelet. The stones weren’t shining at all. Her large, liquid eyes looked up at Theo with sadness, and he nodded his head in understanding. She could already feel the pain and anger and frustration—at him, at the vampire (if she had really seen him), and at the wedding itself—just waiting to mess with her head.
“Maybe I ought to take you home.”

[note to melodia: i adore your writing and your going to become an awsome writer one day. I'M BUYING YOUR BOOK! *or every national geographic magazine you have part in* kay? good.]
It was like every time he saw her, he fell in love with her all over again. And since they hadn't seen each other in a few years, it was hard for him to stay put. His eyes watched as her and her partner started danceing. His eyes locked on her body the whole time, the rest of the world becoming a blur. She was so beautiful in every single way. To the sent of her hair when she was spun, to the pranceing rythem of her heartbeat. It grew faster and almost stopped for a second. He watched her eye's brush over his, his urge getting wild. He watched her fall with absoluely no grace at all, his urge getting uncontrolable. He heard everything said. The male had called her princess. A anger rose inside him, but to his nature, he calmed himself. He almost lost his ballence as she spoke simple but elegant words. Then the male wanted to take her home. Of course, he couldn't let that happen. In a few simple and incredibly swift bounds, the vampire was close to the two, a few feet away. His sences were going mad as he was so close to her. He spoke, his voice lingering with its same old dark but irresistable voice,
"But so soon? I doubt Kassidy would invite you ever again if you hadn't gone up and congradulated her."
His words were silk, his eyes locked on Nali's. They flickered off to look at the male, before disguarding him to look at Nali. He gave a small smile, not dareing enough to touch her yet. Curious green eyes, gleamed at her's his voice soft but caring,
"Nice seeing you here, Nali."
[fugly post ever. *kicks writers block* darn you rahin!!! you got me sick!!!!]

[OoC]- Awwe, thank you Parker. That makes me feel special. xD I love all your posts, too. Especially Shane. *Drools*
Theo's gaze darted up at the voice. In truth, he had never heard a vampire talk before, but if he had imagined it, it would've been something like that. His pulse quickened in fear. Not for himself, no, he was sure the vampire wouldn't do anything irrational like attack a night fairy at their king's wedding. He was mostly scared for Nali, who nearly collapsed when she simply laid eyes on him. He wasn't touching her, yet she seemed to be taking a beating anyways.
Nali's legs were shaky after hearing the voice. So much so that Theo had to focus all of his balance into helping her up without having her stumble. He wrapped his arm around her waist as she stood, but his grip was a tad bit too safe and firm, like he wouldn't let go. And he wouldn't. Not when this guy was standing a few feet in front of them, not when Nali was risking her reputation and her mental stability.
Her chest was rising and falling heavily, her breathing staggered at the sight of Shane. Shane. She hadn't even thought the name aloud in her head in quite awhile, and now here he was. Alive--well, to his extent--real, there, in front of her! She wanted to reach out and hug him, to scream at him, to slap him and kill him and kiss him at the same time. But most of all she just hated him and hated everything that he was and everything that he put her through. Love could make people do insane things--it just drove her insane, plain out.
Her fingers curled around Theo's strong hand and she tore it from her side with such a tense force that even a male night fairy couldn't exhibit it. Her hands became fists, her knuckles turning more white than her skin already was. Her eyes fluttered closed for only a moment. Maybe she would open them again and he would be gone, he would be only a false illusion of her memories? She slowly let her eyelids raise and he came back into focus, and she was only more upset. Nali could feel the pool of her magic bubbling over, more than it did when she came in contact with a light fairy.
"Shane," She managed from between clenched teeth. Her head was pounding and the noise from the wedding melted down all around her, so that it was only she, Shane, and Theo alone. She fought for control of her anger, but it was no use; the bracelet hung like a thin strand of useless, dull jewelry on her wrist. “Why are…you…here?”
"Shane? How come you failed to tell me that you knew a vampire, Nali?" Theo's voice came from somewhere behind her, but she was too livid to notice. He had always thought it was some mutual hate. Like he was born to despise lights, maybe something happened to her while she was away, like she was attacked by a vampire? But no, the two seemed to have some past, something common between them.
And then it clicked in his head. Shane was the other guy. The one that Theo knew was coming back to haunt his beloved. How could he think that she would spend years on her own and not meet someone? His blind-looking eyes darted from Shane to Nali as he prepared for the worst. He would protect her at all costs, especially since Shane was the threat between them.

Shane watched her, his eyes watching her actions fluidly. The way her eyes seemed to think her mind was playing a trick on her. She was utterly suprized. He had come in sort of... unexpected. His stance was casual, there was a diffrence with how she held herself now. At this momment, she was just barely able to hold herself up as the male seemed to be doing that for her. His insides raged with bubbling fustration. As if Nali and him were still together and someone was in his place. This male... this fairy...was in his place. His eyes adverted to his touch- only for a swift momment before Nali spoke his name. He raised his eyes, smiling handsomely. He knew she was pissed. She was over pissed, she was rageing inside. Quite the fiesty one she was.
He too was mad at himself. Though at the same time, he knew he had made a good decision. He...he had left Nali, again. But it was for good. He couldn't bite her. He couldn't just ruin her life like that! She wanted him too, she wanted to be with him. As did he with her- but he couldn't. And she refused to grow as he would stay the same. So... all he could do was leave. Their relationship had split- and he still loved her over anyone else. Though...this...guy... was...with her now. She was in love- with another guy. Shane's inexistant heart was pulled farther appart, his mind feeling like it was being ripped in half. Though even with this going inside him, he looked perfectly normal on the ouside. A excelent actor.
He looked at her curiously as she spat her words at him. He gave her an amused look, almost furrowing his eyebrow together. He smiled lightly, his teeth showing.
"As far as I know- this is a wedding. And Kassidy is a dear friend. Huh, and I was so positive she was out to marry that pixie. Hmm."
He trailed off in a fake though, his eyes adverting to the male fairy. He was a dark fairy, probably handsome in the human eyes, of course, Nali seemed to be... content with him. Did she really love this male over him? He knew the answer, it hurt to think about it. How he'd made such a stupid choice. One he'd have to live with an eternity. After a few momments, his eyes seemed to return back to the present as the male said his name. A smile came to him, his canine like teeth barely visible,
"Hello, you are...?"
In his mind it sounded better like: Hello, can I rip out your heart now? You're kind of close to my woman. He mentally grimanced- knowing that he made a terrible mistake. Still, he raised a slight brow at the male, his look almost sharp. He was almost the size of this male, being abnormally tall because of his vampirism.

((*bursts out laughing* *roflmfao* XD ahaahhahahahahahahah!!!!! 'You're kind of close to my woman...' XD *lollollol ROFLMFFFFAO* XD ))
((XD and omg EVERYONE seems to mention "...and there are PIXIES here!!!" Like omg XD s'ok, I should have expected this, just can't believe EVERY fairy is like "PIXIES?!?" XD))
Jamie smiled as Loki spun her, mind slipping into the movement of her body against his, his sleek moves as he turned her, led her gracefully. Loki failed to mention though that even though his movements make seem sleek and elegant to a human he was good at dancing, but nothing special. Most fairies and pixies were good dancers, they had that grace to them. Dax was the real dancer between them. Loki grinned, pivoting and dipping her, running his hand up and down her back. Jamie giggled, getting pulled up again and looking to her left slightly in time to see Neil eyeing them and then call over a fairy. Well damn. He didn't look too happy. Jamie didn't want to get her hopse up by thinking Neil secretly was in love with her; even if he himself didn't know it. So she refused to even think it. She just accepted their relationship, whatever it was. Lovers. Friends. Partners. She wasn't sure, but whatever they were, thats what it was.
Loki flung her out, spinning her back so she was trapped in his arms. Jamie smiled again, almost having fun before she realized Neil and the fairy had danced towards them and were now dangerously close to them. Jamie put on a smile to show Neil she was having fun, whether he saw it or not while she danced more furiously with the pixie. Jamie's chest rose slightly, swelling as she pleased her form a little. It might seem strange to feel her body changing in his hands, but Loki appriciated it. He thought it was the coolest thing any girl had ever done. She could look like the hottest babe on the planet! How SWEET! The wings on Jamie's back withdrew to bare sweet flesh on her back and she twisted and spun on her heels like she'd practiced all her life. Her and Loki were smiling and lauhging and panting by the time Neil spun off the floor with the fairy, slipping away. Well, if Neil was having fun tonight, so would she, She turned to face Loki, large blue eyes staring up seductivley at him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning closer.
"c'mon handsome, lets go play..."
She tugged his hand, leading him off the dancefloor and away to who knows where to do whatever this 'playing' was.
~
Dax watched as Neil slipped away. Jamie and Loki seemed to be having a good time on the dance floor, Neil getting over to them and all of them spinning and breaking out dance moves. Dax smiled a little, crossing his arms and glancing at the room. He had to move his foot back as a dancer stomped harshly in front of him. He sighed. They had tried to step on his foot. Looks liek he'd have to watch his back. He looked back up to the Queen and King. Maybe he should go back up to talk to them. He grinned at the chance to piss off King Victor and turned to go back to the newly weds.
