Housewarming

The girl stared at him frowning as he realized what she was saying. How pop stars were so involved in their own rich and famous lives that they never realised that maybe they could be down to earth sometimes. Rane watched him become defensive she watched him wretch at the words she spat at him. Money and fame circulated his life...and she'd just dented a small bit of them. But she knew that if he was ever going to make it in the real world he couldn't have his heads in the clouds. She frowned saddly as he said that friend could only keep secrets like that. She looked at him deeply trying to figure out why he wasn't figureing this out. Why couldn't they be friends? Rane almost looked away but he soon responded again. Her eyes met his and she caught the look in them. They were warm and inviting she knew he realised what she really wanted. Friendship. She hesitated then smiled warmly turning around and dropping her arms from their folded position. Walking up to him she gave a larger , kindhearted smile.

"I'll keep your secret, Spade."

She held her hand out to him letting him know she was there for him. Oddly enough she felt that he could be a friend to her. Her first friend in Lordlight. Her first friend had tried to kill her too... but that was in the past now.
