He nodded, feeling his body numb gently with aftershock of all that just happened to him. He let her grab his hand, looking as she scribbled the adress on his hand. He'd deffinatly ask for Ms. Green. He took his hand back, rubbing the back of his head gently, trying to calm his thoughts down. He could get over this. He would. He had to. For Necro and Sophie. He almost turned to go, nodding as the woman said she was off to go- but he looked back. Miss Silvia looked a little off. More than before. He stepped foward,
"Miss...?"
He asked. Soon enough she cursed and apologized before falling ot the ground. In one bound he was kneeling by the woman grabbing her, holding her up.
"Miss Silvia!"
A voice of surpise and terror rang though, trying to see what had happened to her. Several others crouded around, also suprised by what happened.

Silvia blinked, tears beginning to fall down her face. She couldn't see or feel anything, she was lost in a word of fog and smoke. And then, before her, the three Fates. "You!" she hissed, getting up from Valerius's arms and looking out into the distance at something only she could see. "What do you want?!" she spat, her hands shaking angrily.
Her hallucination looked back at her (or was it a hallucination?) and one of the Fates smiled with pointed teeth, "We want you Silvia. You smell...delicious." It said in a voice that Silvia most closely related to slugs crawling up her back, or spiders dancing down her arms. A poisonous voice. Another of the Fates stepped forward, and Silvia took a step back in the read world, looking deathly afraid, "Leave-- leave me alone!" she hissed, her eyes wild with fear.
The second Fate giggled, "Never, my dear. You're so...lonely. We want to end your suffering. Cutting the golden thread in half..." She made a snipping motion with her fingers "Just like that! And you'll be dead-- No more pain-- Or emptiness-- or betrayal."
Her voice, unlike the other one, was smooth as silk, like the cold edge of a knife touching the edge of Silvia's throat, caressing it. "I-- No--" but even to Silvia's own ears, the protests sounded week. As she took another step backwards she stumbled into Valerius, and gripped at his hand, allthough she didn't see or feel it. She was too concentrated on the last woman in front of her.
This one didn't speak, but took out an object...Silvia saw it, and as soon as she did, forgot what it was. But she knew she didn't want it near her. "No. NO!" she whimpered, backing up farther as her heart beat faster. "Stay away from me!" she screamed in a panicked voice, as the third woman continued to move forward, holding a silver knife in her other hand.
((So, once she grabbs Valerius's arm, he'll be able to see everything that happened up to that point, and then he'll be like /in/ the vision...only she doesn't notice him cause she's so freaked out.))

Well... she got up pretty darn quick. Maybe she was emmbaressed that she fell...? He wasn't quite sure? He stepped back, his eyes now lost sheer confusion. She was staring into nothing, calling out at someone unknown. He opened his mouth to call out at her. What was going on? Was somebody--? She seemed frantic now. She seemed like she was... hallucinating?[sp] He didn't move as she backed into him- and grabbed his hand.
Valerius blinked as he went thoughout a vision in extreme speed. It seemed like fast motion until he arrived at the same point that Silivia was at. She was seeing the Fates. He was seeing the Fates. The Fates were right infront of them. He was paralyzed, looking at the woman coming towards them. This couldn't be right. Wasn't this a vision?
It seemed so real. It scared him. He couldn't speak- but he could hear Silvia scream. He stepped back, as the realistic woman came towards them with a knife- his hand wrapped around Silvia's waist pulling her with him. This could not be happening.
His mind clicked. This wasn't right. Not...not now. He closed his eyes and thought. This was all too real. He looked in horror at the woman as it was sure of their fate now. But Valerius's mind was screaming at him. This wasn't real. This wasn't real. Just a hallucination. Siliva had pulled him into a hallucination. He lowered his head by her head, stareing at the woman with the knife,
It's not real. Don't belive it, Miss Silvia.
But no words came from his mouth. He was speaking inside her head. If she thought those words, hopefully...hopefully she would belive them. Hopefully the power of thought could get them out of this bad, bad dream. Because right now- Valerius was already skrewed up in the head, and this was not helping.

"Not...real..." Sylvia gasped, looking around wildly, trying to find the source of the voice...it sounded...familiar. And it was comforting. "This isn't real. Not real." she muttered again and again, coming closer and closer to panick as the woman approached her. "This isn't-- it's not real!" she said in an agitated voice, backing up even farther and then steeling herself for the impact of the knife on her flesh as the last fate raised her arm and brought it down to slash her face...but she didn't feel anything. Sylvia opened her eyes, and found herself surprised to be back in the entrance of the house, backed into Valerius's arms and surrounded by concerned officers who were trying to find out what the hell was going on, and keeping sharp objects away from the two to keep them from harm. The table she'd been sitting at was toppled over because she'd stumbled into it, and she was shaking.
"Not real..." she mumbled, blinking wildly and looking for the three fates. "V-valerius?" she asked, confused as to why her hands were gripping his forearms so fiercely, as to why she felt his warm presence behind her. "What-- Where are the Fates?! They were-- They were there-- It...I--" she stumbled over her words, confused and disoriented, as her fingers traveled to her face where she imagined a long scar should be.
Oddly enough, her face twinged in the diagonal shape, and Silvia's lip trembled, as she let out a short gasp of relief. "Was that you? Was that you who spoke?" she asked the man without turning around or removing her hands. She wanted to make sure this was real. Silvia wanted to make sure that she had heard his voice in her mind.

Valerius listened to her as she repeated his words. He couldn't smile, but inside he felt a flicker of hope. A flicker that maybe they would get out of this mess with some sence of mind. He watched the woman bring down the knife as he pulled back- and- and- nothing. He opened his eyes which he had clamped shut as they were back again. People had surrounded them, confused. His first reaction was to look down, and see Miss Siliva in his arms, her clutching onto him for dear life. He exhaled, takeing in his surroundings.
He knew it. It had been fake. He closed his eyes slowly, then opened them, the dark pupils looking down at the woman that was very, very close to him. But still, she seemed to stay in her place, not moving an inch. She was confused- as he was- but she seemed much more. She then spoke- he looked around, but then knew it was to him. She seemed alarmed. Had he scared her even more that he spoke into her head? Was she mad at him? Should he just have spoken aloud? He looked down at her takeing in air, his voice almost shakey, but comforting,
"Mmhm. I-I'm sorry- I shouldn't have--"
He stumbled over his words, hopeing he wasn't in trouble.
[awww he's like: omfg im skrewed!!]

Silvia heard his voice and felt a huge weight pushed off of her, as she turned around and hugged him tightly, "Oh thank god." she whispered, tears leaking down her face and getting his shirt wet. She clenched her fists behind him, crying without sound, trying to forget what had just happened, and how her mind had turned on her. She breathed in deep gulping breaths, pressing herself to the most real thing around. "Thank god, thank god, thank god..." she whispered over and over again until she calmed herself, feeling secure close to the man who had saved her from insanity.
Some of the other officers crowded around the two, "Are you allright?" "Sylvia? Valerius? Are you okay?" "What happened?" "Was it magic? Somebody go check to see if there are any mages or illusionists in the area--" "There arn't any, we checked while it was going on--" "Check again, and for godsakes get a clean up crew to get the bodies out!" "Somebody get them to fresh air--! The stench is probably affecting their minds--" "Is it poisonous?" "No, it just reeks!"
Sylvia was deaf to all of the talking, and held on tightly to Valerius, who seemd like a large overstuffed teddybear, warm and comforting. She was concious of some of the officers leading them outside, but she kept a firm grip on his shirt as if he were her baby blanket.

Valerius held his breath as she seemed to be scilent for a momment. Then... she--she hugged him. He had his arms away from her, slightly out to the side. He was shocked. Very. She was so thankful. She was crying too, the gentle vibration of her scilent sobs made him wrap his arms gently around her, letting her know she was there. Partially was for him too. It was so nice to feel something real. She was the only real thing right now. He sighed gently, closeing his eyes, finally in relaxation. He could breath normally now. Still a bit jittery from past visions, but everything was safe, now. He held himself and her up gently as they were led out of the area. They were asked if they needed hospitalization- or were hurt? He shook his head, his eyes gently grazed over her. She looked healthy- well physically.
"No..no..I'm fine. Are you alright, Miss Silvia?"
He gave her a tiny sqeeze in his hug for encouragement. Hopefully she would speak to him- only him if anything. A concern of look was stricken in his eyes. She looked so frail in this state. Before she had been so confident and strong, but now, in his arms- she looked powerless. He shuddered and lowered his head so he could see her face,
"Miss Silvia, I insist you let me take you home."
He whispered, as he was sure he was healthy enough to walk the poor woman home. He wanted to take care of her himself- he had to make sure she went home okay. He looked into her eyes his own looking concerned.

((*melt* Valerius is SO nice!!!))
Silvia sniffed, pulling herself away from Valerius and wiping her eyes (still locked in his secure arms), a little embarassed at her outbreak, "Yeah...yeah, I'm fine." she mumbled, smiling up at him blearily and feeling a tingle of warmth in her stomach when he hugged her reasuringly. It struck her that he knew /exactly/ what she'd been through, and he understood, because he'd been through it himself. That knowledge sent the warmth that had been in her stomach rushing to her whole body and she felt positively alive again.
He lowered his head to speak to her and she looked up into his face pitifully, feeling like a delicate eggshell in his arms, "Y-yes, that'd be quite nice." she said in a still half dazzed voice, keeping near to him, as if suspicious he'd vanish. The tears started up again and she whiped them from her face furiously. She got like this every once in awhile...crying for three weeks straight over an incident, or over nothing...luckily she'd always gotten past it. On her own...but she'd gotten through allright.
It seemed that getting through would be a lot easier with Valerius's warm presence besides her. A little bubble of greatfullness rose from her feet and popped in her head, "Thankyou." she mumbled unsteadily.

He smiled warmly, feeling alot better that she was okay. For the moment of course. His hand gently went up to rub her arm, as if reassuring that she was okay. She seemed strong. She was strong. And even the strong lose themselves sometimes. He watched her start to spring tears, his expression becoming sad until she, slightly embarrassed, rubbed them away. He wished he could cry right now. He gave a small smile, nodding as he took an arm around her shoulders holding her to his side. They were asked if they wanted rides, but Valerius shook his head, wanting to walk with the woman.
They walked in silence for a few minutes. Valerius was absorbing the fresh air, and the peaceful surroundings. She was kind-of leading the way because he had no idea where she lived. He looked down at her then, speaking calmly,
"Miss Silvia, uh...uhmmm... you...you wouldn't mind if I went to the psychiatrist with...with you-- would you? I-I mean if you want you're privacy thats...thats perfectly okay..."
He almost felt a bit awkward, looking forward, gently stealing glances at her. He felt a little better around her. They understood each other. Maybe seeing her more often..would...yaknow... help him recover....
[gah sorry that took forever-- *loves how he always starts off with 'miss silvia']

Silvia smiled at him drearily, "Of course you can come. Mrs. Green is a lovely woman. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you being at my session...besides...I'm sure it'd help us both..." she paused, searching for the right word, "Heal." she finally ended, hugging herself and shivering. The images were still fresh in her mind. She caught him glancing at her and she smiled warmly. "Listen, Valerius...thanks...thanks a lot for saving my a.ss back there..." she said with a half smile, "I...I've heard of other detectives going insane from the fates...now I know why."
Silvia attempted a shaky laugh and succeeded. She felt better with the other cop next to her, as she led the way to her house. "Sh.it, you're being so nice about this. I half expected you to want to strangle me after I slipped up in the room...it's just...the smell was so bad, and I felt like I was going ot fall, so I just grabbed you...and I didn't think..." The woman shook her head, tooking a lock of hair behind her ear. "I...thanks. For being nice about it...I mean, you could have gone batsh.it insane, but you didn't. I-- I appreciate that." she told him with a small smile.
"And I'm still /really/ sorry I involved you in this whole thing, even if it did lead me to meeting you."

Valerius looked down at her, then looked up warmly before his face went blank slightly. He looked back down at her. Wait- had she said yes? Well, that was unexpected. He walked a tad more confidently- feeling like everything might just turn out okay. He escaped a tiny laugh as she thanked him in a interesting way of saying it. Yeah...he guessed he did save her. He gave a shrug,
"Not problem, anyways, you did pick me to get you if you fainted..."
He gave her a suspicious look. Why exactly did she choose him again? He looked at her curiously before returning his gaze to where he was walking. He gave her a weary look as she started to explain herself. His face was amused, his dark eyes coated with a softness behind the hard outlook. He gave her a soft smile, appreciateing the thanks.
"Miss Silvia I am going to have to strangle you if you keep apologizing and thanking me- It's alright, I'm almost glad you did grab my hand..."
He reassured her in a joking way, his hand on her shoulder squeezing lightly playfully. He was almost glad. Almost. Sure, he would go see a shrink a few times a week, but he'd made a good friend. He blinked once, a few flashes of the horrible vision locked in his head as he tried to make it go away. Ugh.. he'd get over it. Somehow.
[almost done? her house? hmm?]

Silvia laughed a real laugh this time and glanced at her shoulder, surprised by the amount of warmth that his touch left her arm in. She smiled as she made her way up the street and they walked in silence for the next few minutes. They reached her house quickly and Silvia breathed in the mint, incredibly thankful at its beautiful smell. "Thanks for walking me home, Valerius...you should get home too... I'm sure the guys'll understand." she told him in a low voice, smiling shyly. "Call me tomorrow...I'll tell you about the appointment."
Sylvia walked up to her door, unlocked it and pulled hte door open to her silent house, wishing he would follow her inside, but knowing it to be impossible. "...Well...bye." she said with a quick embarassed smile before closing the door.

Valerius gave a large grin as he had made her laugh.. or something had made her laugh. The point was that she was laughing... and that was good. The next few minutes were nice. Just...scilence. No dead bodies. No Fates. Just...them. He noticed that they were begining to slow down- well she was and he followed the movement. He glanced to her house as she spoke, his eyes adverting to hers. He nodded, accepting her thanks again then looked at her look, feeling slightly akward, but smiling anways. He nodded, not realising that she said to 'call' her. He watched her walk up her steps and open the door. He stood their, watching her content. That last look she gave him before closeing the door.... he felt slightly warmer as he whispered to himself,
"Bye, Miss Silvia."
He looked down at his hand and under the adress was a small little phone number. He curved a smile, as he looked up at the house before turning and walking home.
[zomg so cute!!!]
