(Parker only plz. ) Kassidy waited impatiently for her special guest to arrive. She hadn't even seen a picture of him, and really this whole thing was on a whim...but it seemed to be the best option to stop the killing of her people. The Night Fairy's under Victor were getting too violent, and their continued raids into the Fairy Kingdom were annoying. Maybe if King Victor would unite with her his hunger would be satiated. It had been hard enough moving the whole kingdom to Lordight (well, not spectacularly hard, but it /had/ been difficult), but the continued attacks were making Kassidy tired as she tried to heal everybody at once. She glanced at the door for what seemed to be the thirtienth time and sighed, closing her orange eyes tightly and rubbing her temples. Everything was so /messed up/. It shouldnt have to be the night fairy's against the light fairy's. Take Nali and Kassidy! They were the best of friends, and allthough they occasionally annoyed each other to the point of strangulation, they remained friends! If only the happy dream could be told of all the rest of the citizens! But hatred and grudges were rooted from far before, a difference of cultures and magic, especially the old tale that all Light fairy's were pompous pricks. True, Kassidy /had/ been a pompous self absorbed light fairy once, but those days had been left far behind at Magikus. It was time to grow up. She'd put off the arrangement for far too long, and too many of her people were dead-- A knock at the door interrupted her musings and she sat down hastily, letting a veil of fabric cover her (most of the fairy's had taken to wearing human clothes when she'd taught them the illusion trick so that they couldn't feel it against their skin). She arranged her hair again so she'd look pretty and cleared her throat nervously, "Yes?" "King Victor of the Night Fairy's for you." a clear female voice called out. Kassidy nodded, "Let him in, Miiera."

The place was rather perky, a bit light for his taste. Maybe some black velvet curtians to kept the dreaded light out. Victor wasn't a man of many bright things, usually keeping his clan dark and under total control of the dark. Hence- 'The NIGHT Clan.' Victor was a hardheaded man of many dark and charming powers. Meeting up with another light fairy was rather odd, but he used his politeness as he was brought up to the Light Queen. As the door opened, he thanked the other fairy with a barely audiable whisper. Finally he turned and presented himself into the room.
Victor was very attractive- he was Russian after all. He was tall, although not stocky, but rather lean and toned. He had a sly face, his hair resting long at the sides of his face, almost touching his shoulder. Although it was more of an elegant look rather then he just didn't want it cut. He wore a high quality of clothes, looking rather like a General instead of a King. He kept a somewhat long sword locked by his side. Although something was missing, he had no wings. Nope. But yes, a fairy he was! They were just, gone. He was gifted with the power to use his wings whenever. A rather popular power only gained by very few. Lastly his eyes struck all. Those bright blue electrifying eyes made you paralyzed at a glance. Although you could tell an evil was under the pupil- you had to stare.
Victor gazed upon the Queen for mere momments, catching her eye. He then gave a polite bow, giving his greeting,
"An honor it is Queen Soraria."
He returned his posture, his cunning smile creeping as his static blue eyes reached the beauty infront of him.

Kassidy stared at the man who was the cause of so many deaths in her land and strengthened her resolve. "I'm sure." she said coldly, standing up and giving him a half curtsey before sitting down again, "Please, take a seat. I have a rather delicate matter that I'd like to discuss with you." she said politely, and then let a low whistle escape her lips. There was a flash of light on the edges of the room and then it was gone. The sound wouldn't escape the walls, now, and they could speak in peace.
The Fairy Queen sighed, relaxed now that she was sure nobody was listening. "I've called you here..." she paused, her mind scrambling to find a reason, or something to stop her from doing this, but she ignored them, "To ask for your hand in marriage." She raised her hand, begging for silence.
"I know it is...tradition, for a Fairy to marry only who she loves but...in this case, I think I may be forgiven. Your attacks on my borders have weakened me greatly, and killed too many of my people. I would like to settle this--" she tried to think of an appropriate word, "This lust for land of yours peacefully. Through marriage."
Her stomach squirmed nervously and she let a tiny smile flit across her face, "Hopefully once you've got the fairy kingdom within your grasp you'll settle down. I've thought it through and... I know you don't like to lose, King Viktor." she said quietly, her eyes searching his icy cold ones. His very presence made her want to withdraw inside herself and hide. "I know well enough you'll destroy my kingdom if you arn't stopped... so this is the best alternative."
She let out a long breath and let the silence take over.

Victor knew that his polite tatics wouldn't phase her, but it was still showing that he had the will to do it. He nodded gently and slid himself into a seat close to her, but enough of a distance. Yes, it was true. He was attacking her land. He was breaking her barriors and stealing the land they could. The Night Clan was getting bigger, generations growing up. And of course it wasn't his dislike for the fairy's- his own kind had the tradtion of hating them. The light's were weak as he always stood by that darkness would take over. He watched her scilently, his electrifying eyes watching her every solid movement. And as she asked for marriage. He wasn't suprized. It was an obvious tatic that bound to happen soon. She was afraid of loseing her people and her land- so why not share it. He didn't budge as she held up her hand to speak more. He let her speak as he listened puting her words in his own context, smirking for a mere momment as yes, he didn't give up so easily. She was scared. She was desperate to save her land. As scilence became of them, Victor spent scarce momments to stare her down, before speaking calmly.
"You have made quite the request Miss Soraira..."
He spoke carefully, his dark sinister eyes locked to her's. He rose upon his feet, carefully pushing his chair in. As he walked calmly over to her,
"I will agree to your proposal."
His words, so melliflious, kept the dark hiss from his normal voice. He let his hand out as it was waiting for the hand of his Queen.
"And we shall rule among the fairy's, both light, and dark."

Kassidy looked at the hand distastefully for a moment, and then took his hand. It was icy cold and sent goosebumps up her arms, "We're going to make quite a commotion in the kingdom. We'll have to pretend we're in love for most of the time." she said, a hint of sadness in her voie as she got up. "We can pretend we were writing letter to each other...and fell in love that way or something."
Yeah. Totally corny, but her people would believe it. Not because they were dimm witted, but because they would have to believe it. The unhappiness of their queen would be horrid, even if she'd done it for them. They shouldn't have to suffer for her... She did enough suffering on her own. Her mind was allready moving in fast forward as she stood, removing her hand from his a little too quickly. "We'll have to plan this correctly...how they should find out."
She chanced a glance at him, feeling fear crawl up her stomach, "For my people anyway." She stared out the window, trying to come up with a plan. A hazy one floated in her mind and she nodded. "Here, stand right here..." she said, pointing slowly to a spot near the door, and she quickly joined him there.
Nervously, and with the feeling of acrid fear in her stomach she turned towards the door, "I'm going to remove the blocked hearing...and Miiera will come in through the door." she told him, not bothering to explain that letting sounds seep back through the door was a signal that the Queen and her Lady in Waiting had developed for when she was done with a meeting.
"And then--" she blinked rappidly, "You'll have to kiss me. Make it look convincing...for both our sakes." she breathed, inching a little closer to him, her eyes on the door.
"One...
"Two...
"Allright, Go." she said, removing the shields.

Yes, she seemed uneasy, but he was a Dark Fairy. King. Ruler. Dominator. Although she would get used to it. She had to- for her kingdom's sake. For if he was not satisfied, he would proably attack the land anyways- makeing more room for his loyal dark fairys. But... she needn't not know that yet. He let her hand stay in his cold one, though she seemed quite jittery. He smirked carefully at the letter plan. He raised a brow, opening his mouth to politely but amuseingly protest, but she was already on her way to another plan. Her hand jerked from his as he closed his mouth, a tense look of curiosity placed smack on his face. She pointed towards the door, and he inwardly sneered, but it was just because he didn't like being pushed around. He looked at from then. She was very beautiful. Such attractiveness, it was striking, and she was well fit for a man like him. He'd seen her before, many times, just wishing to take her then- but oh no- he couldn't mislead his clan. And now was his chance. He had the beautiful Kassidy Bree Soraira in his lusting grasp. He listened the fantasy in the back of his mind just ending as he snapped back to fully listening. She would unblock the barriors for... oh yes, the fairy that led him here. She now seemed jittery, this made Victor slyly smile as he gave her a cunning look. His dark expression was eerie, and probably make her shiver if she hadn't already. He was to kiss her. Oh yes.... what a joy this would be. As she finished the last syllable of her last word he acted with gracefulness.
He swept his arms to her, bringing her very close, their bodies touching all over the front of them. A arm clasped around her waist, as the other reached to the back of her neck his fingers gently holding to the hair of her head. And he let his lips gracefully clasp onto hers. His lips weren't acually as cold as she proabably thought they were going to be- acually quite nice. Mhmm. Russian lips.... Anyways- He gave her a passionate, almost lustfull kiss that he'd always been waiting for. And he wouldn't miss a momment of the lovely lady he oh so loved. She said to pretend- but no, this was nothing of the kind.

He moved so quickly that Kassidy let out a startled squeak as his lips touched hers. They were suprisingly warm, but it didn't take the feeling of disgust away from her stomach. She put those thoughts away and moved her hands to wrap around his waist. She'd make it a good show for Miiera, for her kingdom. The seconds seemed to take forever to the queen as she waited for Miiera to come in and interrupt the feel of his hungry lips on hers.
The door creaked open and Miiera came in, "Lady Quee--" she began, and then her mouth dropped open. "Lady!" she squeaked in protest, blushing to the roots of her hair and covering her eyes. Kassidy pulled away from Viktor slowly, "You startled me, Victor!!" she said, letting a girlish blush fall on her cheeks. She giggled and turned towards Miiera, leaning on the soon to be King.
"Sorry Miiera! I-- wasn't expecting that--" she giggled again, and Miiera stared. "You-- he-- But he's--! But you're--!!!" she couldn't get the words out. "But we're in love." she said with a guilty smile, thanking the gods that she was such a good actress.
Miiera's mouth hung ajar for a moment longer before she managed to swallow her surprise. "Oh-- I-- I'm happy for you, Lady!!" she finally choked out.
Kassidy smiled merrily, "We're getting married. You should probably tell Sir Horace so he can begin the preparations. You'll have to tell him to include space for Victor's-- Oh, I mean King Victor's guests."
Her stomach twisted and she felt like she wanted to cry right then and there, but she held her smile until Miiera had disappeared with a tiny pop. The hand on Victor's back trembled and her lilps quivered for a moment.
She swallowed her tears and let out a quivery breath. "Oh, that wasn't so bad now, was it?" she asked with a shaky smile at Victor, hoping they could at least be friends.

Oh of course Victor "played along". He easily let his fiance go as the one fairy stepped in quite disturbed and suprized. She seemed flustered so much- why shouldn't she? He was the Dark King as she was the Light Queen. He pleasently held to Kassidy as the two exchanged remarks, Victor just kept a pleased smile giving a glittering look of love to Kassidy. He gave a nod in agreeance as he looked to Kassidy then Miiera with a dazzling dark smile.
He held to Kassidy even as the other fairy left. He kept her firm as he was sure to let her know that he wasn't jokeing around. He loved her. Truely! She was irrisistable. He let a hand release from the back of her neck and gently caress down her jaw, his eyes looking into her's. He knew she didn't love him. He didn't care- she was his. He kept silent even after her speaking, keeping an eerie few momments of scilence as his eyes went straight though her soul and he loved every second of it. Soon enough he held her tight giving her one last kiss, his lips brushing her's tenderly in a sweet, passionate kiss.
"No, it wasn't at all."
His low voice hissing sweetly as his eyes kept to hers.

Kassidy let him kiss her, willing herself to enjoy it, to love him back. To feel something for him, but all she felt was disgust. She didn't show it, though, and merely nodded and looked away when he continued to look at her, feeling the back of her neck prickle uncomfortably. "You should...probably send a messenger to your kingdom, and I--" she paused as her voice failed her.
Again she took a deep breath and calmed herself, "Excuse me, I...am in a very emotional state right now." she said tremulsouly, and cleared her throat, "I'll have the royal announcer spread the news. We--" her stomach squirmed again in fear. "The Light Fairy customs declare that the King and Queen to be must dance for their subjects. If you know a dance, I will gladly learn the steps so that we may be...unified." she said weakly, trying not to think too far ahead.
She didn't want to do the royal dance with this man! She didn't want to have anything to do with him! "I will, of course...comply to any customs you have in the Night Fairy land." she said carefully, speaking to him formally, trying to show him that she would respect him...but she couldn't love him. Not yet.
She doubted that she would ever be able to

Victor could smell the fear on her, it was strickin across her face that she didn't like one bit of this. It was all for the kingdom. She had no interest in him at all. He restricted from keeping a frown, her voice very shaky. She seemed rather upset to even look at him. As she spoke he frowned slightly, she didn't want to look at him. He let his fustration slip by easily and he gently took the hand that was by her cheek and took her chin and firmly turned it towards his face. Had her parents taught her manners? Hm. Light Faries- they're all the same. He nodded giving his input,
"I will dance at your customs, aslong as we dance infront of my faries too."
He lowered his hand as he stroked along her arm as he gently began to let go of his fiance.
"As hopefully your announcer will keep his distance from my the boundries, as yet, they do not know of our... future plans. So I must go then, give the news, and I will meet you early tomorow. Thats when I will teach you a formal Dark Fairy dance."
He was close to her, but not as close when they were kissing, but still really close. She could see fear and dispair in her eyes, it made him sad to see such a fiance to depressed. He leaned in for a tiny kiss, but he stopped adruptly just cenempeters from her lips, spoke very softly.
"One day."
His sweet, but cold breath hit her, and he finished off with a quick kiss. She would one day. She would learn to love him. She needed time, yes, thats all. But in a few momments after, he swung around and walked toward the door, giving a mere momments last glance. This last look, yet another bone chilling feel.
"Early tomorow, I won't be late."
He smirked jokeingly and walked out closeing the door behind him.

"Yes of course." she said in reply to his question, getting goosbumps along the places where his fingers touched her arms. "I'll make sure the royal messenger stays away from the Night Fairy lands." she told him seriously, in the back of her mind she thought about how the poor fae probably wouldn't even want to go /near/ the fairy lands in the first place.
Victor leaned in to kiss her again, and Kassidy stayed in place only be sheer force of will. His 'one day' spoke volumes to her, and she wanted to run right then and there. One day what? One day she'd be his? One day he'd kill her? One day... Nothing seemed hopeful. Her thoughts were interrupted as his warm lips brushed against hers again and he moved to leave. She'd hardly begun to relax when he turned around, and she stiffened quickly.
Early Tomorrow Morning. Allright. That was...that was fine. When she was finally alone she sat in the corner with her head in her hands, breathing in and out slowly, calming herself until she didn't want to cry anymore.
