Kassidy felt herself get a little rigid when he talked about fairy blood. "How-- how do you know what it looks like?" she asked, a tiny frown on her face. somehow the possibility that he might actually be telling the truth hadn't ocurred to her yet. The Queen blinked a few times, and she was looking at him in that odd way. As if she should remember him from...somewhere. Or as if he reminded her of something. Yet she knew with certainty that she'd never met him before. He was only...familiar...distantly familiar. The Queen opened her mouth to say something else, when she felt a rush of wind by her ear.
There's a commotion between the fairies and the vampires. it whispered, and Kassidy broke away from Dax abruptly, back to business, and away from feeling silly. Her eyes scanned the dancefloor and she felt herself go rigid. Nali. And Shane? And Theo?! This...this wasn't good. "Victor?" she asked, moving away from Dax. He was out of her mind now, and fully concentrated on her queenly duties, "Victor I know they're supposed to be both of our subjects, but I don't think it'd look very good for me to go and scold the night fairy's. I'll take care of the vampire, allright?" she asked, making herself small and landing on his shoulder.

Stupid stupid Shane, the vampire thought bitterly at himself. Was he asking for a fight? Maybe. Because he could have heard that fairy from a mile away. He should have let her down earlier. Stupid vampire! Green eyes grew darker by the second as the fairy came over. And he wasn't too happy. Was that Shane's fault...? Hmm. Shane pondered before he could acually sence some hostility. OOhh a challenge? The vampire raised a brow, smirking almost amused. Messing with her mind? He glanced to Nali. He didn't want to hurt this guy. He could see the fairy was pretty good too- but- look like a fool? Never. He smiled peacefully- his now black orbs looking to the man, iggnoring sparks flying at the ground.
"Fine. Your death wish."
And then you'd gasp and be like "wow?! Shane?! Fighting?!" Heck. Maybe he did want to win. Maybe he would fight for Nali. Jealousy? Anger? Greif? Who cares? He instantly crouched his appearence becoming more demonic. His fangs instantly grew beyond and inch, his face darker, his eyes hollowed as if he'd been dead for years. A spine curling snarl rised from his chest up to his throat. He doubted he would scare the guy out of a battle, but it was worth a try.
[eek he looks more evil!]
Taylor sighed, hearing everything. She really...really didn't like to get in Shane's buiseness. But she snapped her head, and took a few impossibly fast steps before standing a few feet behind Shane.
"You're fools. All of you. Stop this, now."
Her words were only able to be heard by vampires. She snarled at him, her jaws choping once at him in warning. Shane didn't dare glance behind him his deadly eyes looking at the man as if to say 'you're move'.
[xD aww shane's like 'skrew the nice guy part lets see how badly i can f.uck this guy up.' xD]

((XD omfg))
Dax felt a brush of wind pass him and whipser something, but it was too faint to understadn and maybe it was just the sound of the wind itself. He watched the look of confusion in trying to figure him out leave her face as she turned and left him. He watched her go, syaing something to Victore before they both left him. Looked like it'd be enough for tonight. he looked up out the window and saw the sky bright with stars, smiling that he;d gotten to see his love again as in a fountain of brilliant pink and purple sparkles he disintegrated and dissappeared. He was going back to Neils, where he may or may not find Loki or anyone else. He sighed. Maybe he'd been close to something, but the world seemed to be against him, and his heart.

Theo laughed darkly, as if dismissing Shane as an inferior threat. He rolled his head back to crack his neck, and then strode forward. His first attack was not physical. Instead he chose his battles, deciding to go after his opponent from afar. He brought his hands up and it seemed as though the air stirred. His eyes milked over in a light silver, and his black wings opened outwards from his back. The blue sparks popped and sizzled from his hands. He raised his right, pointing at the vampire as a lightning bolt of energy shot towards his chest.
He did not wait to see if his target had reached. The night fairy had no patience, every inch of him itching for battle now that he had begun. He reached into his magic again, and a breeze stirred behind him. It caught on his wings and he kicked off the ground, hurtling towards the vampire with a sadistic grin on his face.
---
[Umm...dunno where to put her, honestly. xD So...she'll get in between them, and then Theo can hit her and she call fall into Shane?]
"No!" Nali screamed. She couldn't bare to watch from her fallen position where Theo had left her. Theo was so sightless to the danger that she foresaw, that she knew was coming. Nali just couldn't stand by and watch Shane kill him--or, by some wierd twist, the opposite--and she knew she had to act. She stood and her gossamer wings unfurled as she caught the tail end of the draft Theo had used. Her dainty feet pushed off the ground and she uplifted, aiming for Theo's back to advert him.
Another wind caught her off guard. She had assumed the previous one was natural, not created by her mate's power. She cursed herself as she was thrown off course by a real gust of air; night fairies were always supposed to know the direction of the wind. But she hadn't the time to correct herself. Her dark dair flew in her eyes and mouth just as something slammed into her full-force.
She felt herself slipping away, like it was all going in slow motion. Her eyes stared up at the sky and a light flashed in her eyes for a moment. Her right side was going numb, and she dreaded the ache of hitting the ground when she felt her body hit something else, something strong and sturdy that barely moved under the force of her blow, before she collasped to the ground.
[Mebbe you can work with that?]

Shane snarled at the man as he only thought his apperance nothing. Oh well. Still his death wish. His eyes only slitted more as the bold of lightning came at him. At an incredible speed he turned to dodge it- but the shock had come sooner then he thought. But something blocked it-- or maybe it just missed, he wasn't sure. He snarled in fury, seeing the man instantly come at him. He sprouted his black wings, ripping from his shoulder blades. He was about to lunge before he saw Nali. In this state, he knew who she was...it was just that things got mixed up alot. He didn't have much of a thought process in this state- it was just to hunt. She was knocked into him and he natrually snarled at her heartbeat before his urges were cut off. He knew Nali too well. His love for her was more than his love for her blood. He knew she was hurt. He picked up Nali in a second, brining her out of harm's way. He looked down to see Nali's eyes closed...
"..N-Nali?"
An unpleasent growl erupted from him. He turned to the male snarling at him,
"Look what you did!"
He growled, his features returning to normal. The male had hurt Nali! Not purposely but--but!! Shane narrowed his eyes almost stepping toward the man.
"ENOUGH!"
Roared the Fairy King. He near the middle looking at both the males. This was rediculous and savage! He frowned, not pleased at all.
"There will be no fighting in my kingdom! Vampire- step down and exscuse yourself from here. Theo, stop."
His voice was icy, not raised at all but the sterness of it made people chilled. He eye'd the vampire first. Foolish.
Shane looked blankly at the fairy king before looking back to Nali. He daren't touch her, only look, before he stepped back and closed his eyes before reopening them and looking at the king,
"My apologies, sir."
Shane glared at the male before turning and exiting out.
[ooooooo.]
Victor watched the vampire leave before returning his strict gaze to Theo. He frowned looking at the hurt night fairy. He called for Kassidy,
"She needs healing. Theo please exscuse yourself to your hut and we will send her when she is healthy."
It was an order.
[sorry kinda done quick]

Kassidy stepped off his shoulder lightly and made herself larger. She kneeled down and collected Nali in her hands, scanning the magical damage. When she was done she sighed, "It was a powerful curse. It may take a few hours to completely heal. I'll transport her to my-- our nursing rooms." she held Nali's hand and blipped out of existance, popping up later in her private room. The Queen put her hands on Nali and pushed her magic into the woman, healing some of the outer bruises (some which were in odd places...which shouldn't have been there from the fall) before approaching the curse. Light Magic fought Dark, and she pushed the curse out of Nali's body with an immense amount of power on her part. She shouldn't have used so much power at once...but she needed answers. All in all it lasted about ten minutes. Not a few hours.
As soon as she was done, Kassidy erected walls around her room and woke the other fairy up. "So." she began, and then couldn't control the fury in her voice. "WHAT just happened out there? Is there something you havn't been telling me?!" Kassidy din't understand how Nali could be so cracked. She hadn't said /anything/ to her about Shane. They'd broken up /ages/ ago. Why didn't she mention that she sitll liked him?!
Because it was /that/ obvious. Because the way Kassidy had seen Shane look at Nali... she'd thought they had just fallen out of love...but no. How could she be so stupid to think they'd just forgotten each other. Nali had changed and now she saw /why/ she'd changed. "No, NO! DUMB question. I can't believe-- you told me you just broke up with him! You didn't say--" But Kassidy hadn't really asked, "Why didn't you tell me? I could have helped, or--"
Kassidy sat down on the edge of her bed, looking hurt. "...You can go. Now. If you want. Go get him. You've got three hours until Theo will go out looking for you." Silently, the Queen made the decision that if the Night Fairy didn't go out, she'd go and find Shane herself, and whoop his a.ss for being so stupid.

((Cryo, remember how Jack could make an arm out of his power, doesn't he do that? *imagines blue glowing cool arm on him* MJ doesn't mind him one armed, but just saying ^_^))
MJ smiled at her hubby, resting her cheek on his shoulder and enjoying him next to her. He asked her to dance and she perked, nodding and skipping away slightly as he followed her out. She loved dancing and just because he only had one arm didn't mean they couldn't pull a move or two. She put her hand in his, other hand going up to his shoulder as she grinned at him. For some reason her mind turned to the day back in Paris when he had asked her to marry him. It had been the funniest thing in the world to her, she felt so bad for laughing when she thought about it, but he had been so cute about it, and so nervous! She giggled as they started dancing, spinning slowly around the dance floor in lazy circles.
She remembered the night beggining, they went out to dinner and he had knocked her Dr Pepper all over her dress. Her chest had been sticky all the rest of the night, but she just laughed it away. No harm done in her book. The stain was wet and cold but she just waved it away. She couldn't help but feel he was nervous, but she couldn't figure out why. They'd been on dates before. She just went along with it, going through the night. He lost his money, proceeded to get sick at the place they went to eat. She healed him of course, but he felt pretty bad anyway. She couldn't help but feel so horrible for him even though she smiled, having a nice time just because he was with her.
She remembered they were under a lamp post and he walked a step ahead to get something out of his pocket. She had paused, wondering what was happening and not really having any idea as to what to expect. She watched as he turned, nervousness peeking and he said her name, looking serious. Then the rain started. It didn't just start, sudden buckets of water crashed on them, soaking him and her as he got on his knee. Then it had hit her what he was doing. She had been stunned as he fell over in the rain. She remembered a slow smile coming over her face before she threw herself onto her knees and hugged him in the water and the dirt. It had been the most comically romantic moment of her life and she wouldn't have traded it for the world...
((XD I dont know what to do with them but they are SO cute!))

There was blackness all around her. She felt it, saw it, heard it. Her head pounded and her body felt numb and weak in the endless night. And then, as if by some miracle, she felt herself convulse and a flood of golden light washed over her mind. Her eyelids fluttered and then opened and she realized that she was, thank goodness, no longer at the wedding.
But then she heard Kassidy’s screams, and came to the conclusion that this was just as bad.
She blinked and sat up, knotting her hands guiltily. “There is something I haven’t been telling you,” Nali said, swallowing. She couldn’t really put up with her anger right now. “Because it wasn’t for me to tell.” She took a small breath to keep the tears back.
“I thought about him—cried about him—every night, for twelve years. And…I couldn’t tell you. We were both subjected to forbidden love. You know...Dax,” She said quietly, looking down. Her eyes were full of sorrow, and her voice dropped so that it was barely audible.
“Shane wouldn’t bite me. He didn’t want me to stay with him forever. It hurt,” Her voice cracked and she stood up. Her dress was torn off of her right shoulder, and the black ribbons on the back were twisted and bent out of shape. She strode over to the door, noticing that her hip no longer ached from bruises and her legs felt good as new. “Thank you,” She said quietly. “I don’t think I’ll go look for him. He doesn’t deserve the pain…perhaps I do. Theo will be waiting.”
She closed her eyes, her back facing the queen. “I’m sorry I ruined your wedding,” The fairy choked, then opened the door and rushed out.
[Hahaha suicidal much!!]

Dax? The pixie Dax? What was she talking about? Kassidy pushed it out of her mind. Not important enough for her to care. Then Nali was talking about how Shane didn't want to bite her-- And this angered Kassidy most of all. Why not, then!? Why didn't he want to bite her? And now..Nali didn't want to look for him. "Wait-- Nali!" she called out, but she was gone. Sh.it. The Queen felt her blood boil and she left her room, using her powers to search for a specific vampire. She found him nearing the edge of her borders, and transported herself there.
"Shane." she said, her voice ringing that sort of queenliness every monarch carried. "Stop. I need to talk to you." To knock some sense into you, you dolt. It was a command. He was still within her borders...and she could still stop him if she wanted. "Now, if you please." Now her voice was icy. She wasn't feeling particularly charitable towards him. Or towards Nali, to be honest...she had kept that secret for so long! It must have killed her! Stupid girl! Why hadn't she told her?! But the time for that was past, and Kassidy had to fix things as they were now.
"You owe me that much, Shane. I don't believe I've ever witnessed such a commotion at any wedding." She began with quiet seriousness, but ended with amusement. It wasn't like she really cared...the area had been stiffling. Even in the brief moments of relif when she had been talking to-- wait-- she'd been talking to someone? Her mind was confused for a moment, before it decided that no-- she hadn't been talking to anyone. The Queen frowned slightly, feeling like she'd forgotten something...but no. Nothing seemed familiar. Oh well. Now was the time to try not to murder Shane for behaving like an retard.

Shane was stalking away, hearing hisses from his sister in the background.
Your so stupid! You left and now you come back and fight! Shane!
A furious Taylor snarled at his back before turning and trotting away towards Izarus. Stupid, stupid vampire of a brother.
Shane felt hurt and confused. He didn't know which way to go. Why did he come? He knew he was going to see Nali. He knew... she was going to be.... like...that. He shoved his hands in his pockets his back hunched slightly. He needed to get away. Far, far away. He took a quick step to flea- but he heard a voice that called aloud his name. It was a higher voice, a womans voice. Familiar. He stopped, hearing her speak to him. He turned his head with a picture of her already in mind. Queen Kassidy.
d**nit. He knew he was in for it.
He glanced toward the border, then sighed scilently, turning around. His eyes were still dark around the edges, his dark eyes being shaded by his hair. He looked at his old friend, giving a trying smile.
"I'm glad I made your life complete then."
He growled at her comment as his hands still placed fists in his pockets.

Her lips twitched but she wasn't going to be won over so easily. "So you still love her." she said, her eyebrows raised high, and her face critical and angry. "You still love her and she still loves you back." she continued with unrestrained scorn ringing through her voice. "Twelve-- Twelve years, Shane. I didn't know about this for twelve years. And I find out today that my best friend is stil in love with you. Still weeps for you at night. Has wept for you every night of the past twelve years."
There was an angry haze of pink around her that she usually didn't let show, but she wasn't going to bother controling it today. "So I'd like you to tell me-- to explain exactly what was going through your mind when you broke up with her!" she was seething with anger, and her eyes were like knives. Kassidy could hardly believe how stupid this whole hting sounded. "Through both your minds, when either of you didn't tell me what was going on!" The Queens voice broke slightly and she ended in a furiouse note.
"That kind of strain can KILL a fairy, Shane. Did you want that?! You're goddamn LUCKY that Nali is a survivor. How dare you hurt her that way? How dare you deny her the love everyone deserves! How dare you deny yourself that same love!" she hissed.

Okay. So she hadn't come over to say 'oh im so glad to see you, lets have tea sometime.' She was angry at him. Great. Who wasn't? He lowered his head, his hair gently covering bits of hsi eyes, his eyes still dark. He looked dead. His skin was a deathly pale, his eyes almost shrunken. Though still, he stood there, breathing. Kassidy was pissed. He knew she had a repputation to get angry- and when she got angry... it wasn't pretty. He felt weak in this position, his shoulders still haunched as if he was being scolded. He just wanted everyone to go away... just leave him alone...
How dare he deny himself the same love?
He looked up, his eyes feirce with dispair,
"I did it to save her!"
He stopped breathing, his eyes narrowed at Kassidy, his fangs glittering,
"I wanted her to live a regular life! I wanted her to experience something else then just blood! Is that so much to ask? I love her, yes. But...but she loves somebody else now. A fairy. Kassidy, vampire's weren't ment to be with other species... It's not...not right..."
His voice was deathly at first, but had droned down to a hiss of a whisper. He was betraying his own heart- it was driving him mad.

"To SAVE her!" Kassidy shrieked angrily, outraged, "To have a REGULAR LIFE!" She glared at him, her fists clenched, "Do you want to know what her life is like now?! Has been for the past twelve years?! I don't know for sure, but I can describe what it probably is. She lives like a ghost, accepted, but not wholy accepted by the Night Fairies. An outsider. Alone." her voice was low, now, with sadness and frustration. "Oh right, except for Theo." Now it dripped with Sarcasm. "Theo, who I have just found out gets out of hand when he-- touches her. I suppose you could say he hurts her. Keeps her under control. She can't come visit me, because she's wearing a bracelet made out of stars. A mood bracelet that he monitors. And you call it LOVE?!?! SHE'S LONELY. OF COURSE she'll reach out to the first person who doesn't mind being NEAR her!"
The Queen was breathing heavily with anger, "To save her from a life of blood my a.ss! Lord, what fools these mortals be!" The fairy felt a powerful anger well up inside her chest, "We've been in a war for twelve years! Longer, even! Are you suggesting that if you-- if you turned her, that's all there would be? Blood? She wouldn't find love like you have? She wouldn't experience the rare moments of joy, like you have with her?!"
"She loved you! She loves you still, though only the gods know why!" She felt tired at all of this emotion, but still too angry to let it all go, "And you don't love her enough to let her have what she wants! To stay with you! You don't love yourself enough to keep her with you! How dare you!" she asked again.
