[valerius is in for a bit of a suprize.... for bloo only!!!]
Valerius plopped himself on the plump love chair, his arms hanging off the sides, his eyes gently closeing and opening out of exaustion. Phew... He had seen a tiny note on the counter that explained why nobody was in the house: Out to the mart, be back later!-Necro. He had looked at the note for a momment before mummbling something about ice cream.
Valerius had barely changed since he was residing at Magikus. Okay maybe by a few years- but after twelve years he was still in perfect shape. He was still the same muscular wize, having a toned chest and perfect biceps- or as he called them his 'extra set of guns'- with the same height. Instead of looking like an twenty eight year old he looked just about thirty seven.
He closed his eyes on the couch, after a restless half a day at work. He was lucky he had off, he didn't feel like having a hassle at the castle all day. He folded his arms across his head, gently tipping his hat over his eyes... ahh...peace and quiet....

Necro turned off the engine, she hadn't gotten any ice cream and Sohpia sat idley in the passenger seat licking two cones. One was hers and one was her father's, she said she had to lick it before it melted on her. Sohpia knew something was wrong and knew that it was something her mom wanted to talk about with her dad. She got out of the car with Necro and they walked up the drive to their house. Necro was taking deep breaths and Sohpie opened the door, hopping inside and smiling. She yelled.
"DAAAAAAAD!!!! WE GOT ICE CREEEEEEAM!!!
She wandered into the living room, grinning and skipping to her dad to hold out his half eaten ice cream. She hurriedly explaned.
"It was melting and I didn't want it to drip on me and get my hands all sticky, so i had to lick it a little..."
She held it out as best she could, looking a little emberassed that so much of it was gone. Had she really licked it that much? There was the sound of the door closing and Necro came into the room a second later, her face plane and her eyes sad.
"Sophie, go play huh? Go on, I need to talk to daddy."
Sohpia nodded her her mother, running away to put the ice creams in the freezer and then racing up the stairs, wanting to give her parents privacy. Necro watched her go, heart squeezing at how much she loved her daughter. Then she let out a ragged sigh, tear coming to her eyes. She felt like a big baby as she was in Valerius' lap in a second, sniffling on his shoulder.
"Vaaaaal!!! Oh it was so... I never would have expected... We were at the market and Sohpia was gone and I turned around and I went into the crowds... I was so scared...and then...and then... I found her..."
She sniffled again, arms around her husband's neck.
((XD I figure Valerius'll be like 'aww it's okay babe... she's here, we wont loose her again...' and then Necro looks up and is like "MARK was there!" O0O!!! XD ))

Valerius almost...almost dozzed off. Until... BANG! He heard the door slam open as a little squeaky voice squealed around the house. He jumped slightly, his hat falling of his head to the floor. He sat up gently, slightly confused before a little girl entered the room. A wide smile pressed on his face as his little girl Sophie came in the room with ice cream. Haha, score! He laughed lightly as he looked at the half eaten ice cream,
"Aha, thats okay darlin."
He looked at her with a bright smile. His little girl was so beautiful. He was so lucky.... His eyes adverted to the woman of his dreams... Necro. He smiled at first, but the mood seemed to float into something unknown. Something...wasn't...right...
Valerius sat up straight, his head almost tilted in confusion, as he watched his little girl run off. Valerius looked at Necro, concern obvious on his face.
"Wha..."
He started, but Necro trailed him off as she sat in his lap, leaning on him, tears rolling down her cheeks. She soon explained herself. He put his arms around her pulling her to him as he let his head looked straight across the room, figureing what she was saying. Oh lord... He patted her back lightly, his body becoming relaxed,
"It's okay hun, these things happen... The good thing is that she's here- safe."
He smiled gently and patted her back, hugging her gently. Yes, it was a scary thought, but these things happened to mothers and fathers. It was scary, but it made you realise just what could could lose...

Necro sniffled, listening to him. She hadn't told him yet. She took another deep breath before turning innocently wide green orbs up to him. The worst part hadn't come yet. She sat a moment, took another deep breath and went on, her eyes pleading into his.
"Mark found her! I ran throguh the crowds and when I found her he was standing right in front of her trying to help her find her way! They didn't even know who they were! WHY DIDN'T THAT F.UCKING BASTARD EVER COE TO SEE HER?! He told me you'd never let him and I told him that SHE'S HIS DAUGHTER! and I would ahve MADE you let him see her! TWELVE YEARS!!!!"
She dug her face into his chest, rage and confused sadness swirling around in her. It was all just so unexpected! She hadn't been prepared to see him! He was so much older now! He looked almost like Valerius. Younger of course, if only by a little. Necro shook her head into Valerius' chest, hugging him and knowing her heart still and always would belong to him. Mark hadn't even showed up at their wedding. The Jerk.

Valerius could tell that this was alot worse then it seemed. She turned to him, scilent for a momment. He knew that she was going to explode with something new. Something that maybe, he didn't want to hear... She sobbed out her story as he was tense, his eyes inspecting her... Mark...
Mark?
That kid was still alive? He hesitated a smile, but he figured that Necro would get mad at him or something. He sat there with a blank face. Mark had found little Sophie...? Wow. His face tensed as he gave a hard look to nowhere in paticular. He said that he would never let him see Sophie? He had to admit that... Mark was right. He would never let that backstabbing man ever go near his daughter when he was around. That son.of.a.b.itch would be in deep s.hit if he ever thought it was o.k. to just come wandering back and become the father again. No. That man would never be Sophies father....
Painful as it was to admit. Mark was the biological father. He was the father right now. He sighed out almost a bit hurt of what Necro said. That Mark was the father- and that Sophie was his daughter...
"I'm sure he wanted too.... but he knew he would be coming to see nobody that wanted to accept his presence...He probably worried that you would hate him- and he probably didn't want to see me."
Val looked at her giving her the best answer he had with a simple shrug. He gave her a sympathetic look like 'don't worry about it'. He leaned in and gently, kissing her tenderly in hopes to get her more relaxed.

Necro watched him, feeling his delicate swirl of emotions. She smiled softly. She knew Valerius loved Sophia more than anything in the world, and Necro hated bringing up that he wasn't her flesh and blood father, but if Mark would have wanted to see Sophie Necro would have let him. They had invited him to the wedding! If they knew where he was after Magikus Necro would have tried to contact him to get him to see Sophie. Maybe none of them really wanted to know Mark, maybe he would mess up their family, but it was a long complicated story that Sophie would hear when she was ready. Necro let Valerius kiss her, the same soothingly dark kisses they had been in school, those picnic's under the tree where he had proposed to her. She giggled, unable to help herself as she bit her lip, staring into Val's eyes with a flicker of seduction. She smiled broadly.
"Yeah, I know, but I just sort of wish Sophie knew him. Well, not know him but know about him. Do you think we'll ever tell her on our own? What if she were to find out someday? How would we explain that? She would be so heartbroken if we didn't tell her ourselves... Dont you think?"
Her smile drew down softly and she kissed Val again, a delicate little smooch.

Valerius felt her ease up as his hands ran along her sides smoothly. Of course he was sure that Sophie was good and kept in her room, but there was always that chance that the girl would come flying down the stairs only to see her mommy and daddy...well... He watched her curiously as she giggled some. He could tell what or the area of what she was thinking about, just placeing a rather smirkish smile. He listened to her carefully, his eyes lost in the desire of hers, but agreed about everything. He opened his mouth to speak, but Necro had already begun. It was quite curious how she always did that- maybe it was just to let him think about the situation. Finnaly he finished the tiny kiss, leaning back, putting his hands behind his head as his eyes glanced out the window.
"Yeah. I understand. She should know the truth... but... now now. Soon."
He finished off his speaking with looking at her, his eyes gently sizing her up. She was still if not the same body size when in highschool. She was a bit taller, but still rather skinny. She suprizingly got rid of all the fat after the birthing. He told her so. He smiled at her delicately, thinking about what they were talking about. He knew keeping a secret from her was bad. But... he didn't want to admit something... He didn't want to admit that he wondered if his daughter would think any less of him. Him not being the real father- then who was he? Some strange man. A fake? He looked off to the side with a hard face, trying not to think.

Necro smiled at him gently, knowing he was thinking as he looked at her and not wanting to distract him. She drew little circle patterns on his chest, leaning against him and listening to his heartbeat, feeling his chest rise and fall slowly. She closed her eyes, nuzzeling his chest and smiling up at him. She wondered what he thought, but she didn't read his soul anymore, she liked testing her wifely bonds and seeing how well she could read his mind by his expressions. She was pretty sure she knew his fear. That Sohpie would feel strange around him, that he wasn't really her dad. Necro was the mommy, you couldn't really say "sophie, hunny, turns out I'm not you're mom...even though...y'know...I gave birth to you n all..." At least she knew who the father was. Damn those daytime TV shows like Jerry Springer and Maury. She snuggled close to him, nodding.
"She loves you more than anything, and I love you, and nothing will ever change that..."
She paused, thinking about her encounter with Mark. She smiled victoriously.
"Heh heh...I kicked him good..."

[*bazzerk* OMFG I LOVE THE MAURY SHOW <3333 my favorite thing to watch every day after school!!! XD]
Her finger tingled along his chest as she snuggled up against him- it made him wrap his arms around her gently. She was so soft, warm, it made him feel like the luckiest man alive. He let his cheek softly rest against her head, the beautiful sent in her hair coming naturally off her. Ahhh. He looked down at her as she spoke up to him. He hugged her tightly, letting her know how much better that made him feel. He closed his eyes, sighing... but after he heard Necro make her last comment he broke into chuckle.
"Ahah, that's my girl."
He smoothed down her hair, then kissed her forehead once.
[grrr...any ideas?]

((hmmm...not really. I don't even know how Mark is going to find them. Are they in the yellow pages? ^_^ XD he could look em up in the phone book. o0o0o0o! I know! Y'know how Julia finds out about Sohpie? SHE could MAKE Mark go see his daughter! and because Mark loves her he reluctantly goes XD She's the one who decided to look them up and find their address in the phone book XD how about osmething like that?))
