[Uh, this was suppose to be the police station or the jail or something... but... there isn't one. Yeah so if melodia makes one *=D* i'll ask her to move this over there or something... Yeah, just another 'myself' thread. It won't be tooo big this time. =]]]
The sun had already rose up a quarterway of the sky. He hadn't bothered to look at the time at Silvia's house because he'd already been granted off of work for a little bit. He was grateful the station gave him time to recover. He was sure he'd need it. With a harsh sigh the man pushed opened the door's of the station.
It was busy as always, people walking around briskly with files or police officers dragging in people to throw them in the jail while their court dates awited them. Valerius figured he'd need just a little time to get ready to see...Necro. It was exasperating to even think about her name. He wondered what she was doing. And as always a small pang of fear struck him wondering if she was okay.
Stepping to the side, the man seemed to blend in as he walked along the side of the wall. He was a nice man at work, he had friends there, people he could trust. He wondered if anyone knew about the Fates case. His Fate's case. He blinked when he stoped adruptly noticeing someone infront of him. Valerius had to bow his head to look down at the short woman. She was around her early twenties, slender, and in a police uniform.
"Hi Val!"
Valerius blinked then smiled. Okay, so maybe nobody knew about the case.
"Oh. Uh, Hey."
The woman grinned for a momment before crossing her arms and strikeing into conversation,
"So why are you here so late? Taking more day's off? Not feeling so hot?"
A bit dazed in converstaion the man didn't hear her tint of sarcasm and flirtatious tone. He nodded merely, rubbing the back of his neck. She gave a flashy smile then turned to the center of the station. There were many desks of people answering 911 calls and whatnot.
"So you hear about the Fate's case yet?"
Valerius tensed his eyes dareing to bulge out of their eye sockets. Wh..what...?
"Yeah I know, suprizing eh? Yeah well I hear some little girl got raped in some alley not too far from here. They said the Fate's got into this poor guy's mind and made him do it. I mean, atleast its the rumor going around. Saddly, the head of the case won't tell us who the guy is. If I were him, I'd never tell-- or atleast show my face around anymore."
Valerius didn't know whether to laugh aloud, or cry. They knew. But they didn't know. He felt tense, feeling the urgent need to get out. Thank god that the head of the case was keeping this a secret or--
"And...and *sniffle*... he was big..and..*sniffle* he was scary! H-he-- he was wearing a uniform like you!"
Valerius almost nearly fell over as he heard this. His eyes adverted across the room his pupils getting smaller. S.hit.... His body wouldn't move for a second his eyes locked on--- it was her! The small little brown hair'd girl looked worse, her eyes a bit red from crying and whatnot. She'd obviously been here overnight. Now some of the officers were asking her for information-- trying to guess who it was. His sargent walked up to the little girl, shooing the other officers away.
"Now, now, leave her alone."
The officers walked away, whispering trying to figure out who it was. There was alot of big police men, Valerius just happening to be one of them. They probably wouldn't even suspected him. He was all all around type guy who did his job well. Nothing wrong there. Valerius knew he was safe...until...
The little girl looked up to the sarget sniffling. Her eyes started to drift off of him, making a round check of the place. Her eyes scanned each police officer, her big brown orbs looking at every one...till... She saw one guy. He wasn't in much of a uniform...but..he was familiar. All...too familar. Her little eyes went wide, her hands grasping till she grabbed the side of the sargent's pants, stepping closer to him. The sargent was talking to another officer and he looked down at the little girl. They had been watching her while her parents where getting told the whole story.
"Hm? Whats the matter?"
The little girl kept her eyes locked on Valerius. Valerius stared back wide eye'd. Crap. She saw him. She knew it was him. He kept staring at the girl and spoke slightly--
"I...I have to go."
His body would not let him move. D.amnit- move! The little girl grabbed tighter.
"It's...him..."
She whimpered gently. The sargent grunted in confusion and looked up to see a shocked Valerius.
"No little girl, I think you're miss--"
"No! It's HIM!! ITS HIM!!"
She cried aloud, tears springing to her eyes. She hid behind the sargent's leg. Everyone adverted there eyes to Valerius. Valerius glanced back at everyone, cooly. He heard a voice behind him...
"Val...?"
Asked the totaly suprized woman behind him. Valerius tensed his shoulders, his eyes glanceing back to the girl before he relaxed, giving up the game. He couldn't hold it in forever...could he. He glanced to the woman behind him,
"I... I don't want to talk about it."
The woman stepped back slightly, not beliving it. How...no! Val wouldn't..do... The scilent room grew louder with whispers. Val turned starting to walk to the back of the place, needing to get into his locker. He felt people's unbeliving eyes on his back, he just merely iggnored it. Nobody would have suspected. Val tensed as he passed the suprized sargent giving him a slight nod, his eyes looking down to the little girl that hid from him. He sighed and opened the door, closeing it behind him. He could hear the voices of the officers and people get louder, asking what the hell happened. Work... it sucked.
[muaha. i had a dream about this so i decided to make it a thread. ummmm-- BLUE! you can post necro at the house and i'll reply!!!]
