TIME: Important

I'd like everybody to read this because I think it's a big sort of flaw in our roleplaying system.

/I'd/ like time to be movable. Like, you can go forward a few years, or months or wahtever, without having to have EVERYBODY go forward.

That way we can play the children older, and we can move things faster...

I remember that was one of the worst things about magikus...how the days lasted like...FOREVER.


Of course, if time /is/ movable, that means you'll be able to have your character in two places at once.

I know we were opposed to this back in Magikus, but I never really saw /why/. It's useful. You get to roleplay more, and things move a lot faster. You don't have to wait for eons for one board to finish to start another board.

And it's not like your character is /actually/ in two places at once... they're just in different places at different times.

this is if time is MOBILE.


If it's not, we'd have to do that day thing... like we had in magikus. Or month thing, at least.

I dunno. I just wanted your opinions on it, sicne the last two times I asked everybody kind of didn't say anything. XD haha.

So yes. Actually /say/ something this time. Agreeing on one, or the other, or posting your own ideas!

I think it's a good idea, I never saw why so and so could be here AND there if you said 'well this is later in the day' or something, and if people could freely time their characters then they would get in more roleplaying and I think it'd be funnier for those roleplay freaks like Parker who are on seeminly 24/7 with 5 minute breaks that I always miss them in XD

Did you guys already go on and jump with this idea? I mean, 'cause I saw your 'five years into the future' board thing.

I like the idea of liquid time, it's just I'd appreciate if you at least asked me about it before you did it. I know Parker is Co-Admin, but for decisions we need to talk to Tressi as well.

I wouldn't do that. I'm too nice. And it's fine. I just...I don't know. It kinda pisses me off. Not you guys, just the whole time thing. It screws things up. Leaves no room for surprises, I guess.

Haha. Well it doesn't really screw surprises up...you don't have to mention things that happen, or roleplay in the future if you don't want. XD I was just doin' that for the kids and stuff. It's a bit boring to /just/ play them as kids.
