[It is. You'll find out why when you read this. Blah for me only!!!]
Work sucked. The man unclasped his tie, loosening it up. He breathed heavily, his mouth dry. Was it hot out here? Wait... maybe..no...huh? The man stumbled slightly, blinking at the glistening sun. It almost looked like he was drunk.. but that couldn't be the case. The man undid the buttons of his police uniform letting the wifebeater show his chest. Phew. He didn't feel so good.
Oh yeah. Work sucked. He had to run ten blocks today to find some guy that didn't even steal anything. He was positive that the man had gone running out of the store...then... the owner started sceaming at someone. So he just ran, getting the man and finding...nothing. It had acually been a woman that had stolen something... but she'd gotten away pretty quick. [Eth maybe?! *gasp*] He'd apologized to the man then gone off in a hurry to get out of there. He didn't feel so good today. It was awhile since he went to the shrink with Silvia. Maybe he should call her again.... Maybe not. While wandering his way out of the towns he'd been spooked by the illusion of the Fates over and over again. It had made him get so tired...
Stumbling up on the clear area of the lake the man stared at it blankly, then around him. Nobody was there. Geeze what a day. The gruffed man sighed and started to take off his uniform. Hey why not take a swim... Stripping down to his boxer's and wifebeater the man leaned over looking at the water and slowly dropped in, making a splash. Valerius sank to the bottom with a small smile, bubbles escaping to the top.
But of course, the man wasn't alone. A woman stood nearby her long black hair down on her back. Next to her a rather large horse at hand. She was petting the beast carefully speaking to it as if was speaking back. Though these two were slightly out of the man's unclear vision. Her skin was even darker in the slight shade of the sparce tree's. She had taken a bareback ride out to the lake where she could get some privacy. She'd noticed that someone had wandered into the area, not noticing her. She minded her own buisness but looked rather curiously. It was a tall man, dark hair, slightly looking a bit messy...almost handsome enough to claim similar looking as her husband. She smiled curly as the horse snorted hearing what she thought. She looked away with a little laugh as the man started to undress, still not realising her presence. It was such a nice day to take a swim... She looked back over to see the man collapse into the lake. Haha! What a sight. She smiled, looking over curiously waiting for him to arive for some air. Nothing. Nope. Uh.... thirty seconds later... Almost a minute later... She looked worried. Still nothing. She couldn't take the pressure anymore. What was wrong? Was he okay? She had..she had to help! The woman ripped off her jacket and dove into the water, her slim body easily making their way over to the man.
Julia opened her eyes to see the man. He was just laying there. Underwater. No more bubbles were escaping him. Oh no! She hurried and grabbed him pushing up to the serface. He was kind of heavy for her-- he was really tall and she was so small-- but still, she was able to get him to the serface. She gasped for a breath as she was behind the man holding him at the chest.
Valerius held his breath. It was almost like he didn't want to take air. In a weird way..he sort of didn't. He was still a spirit inside. So...air wasn't really nessiary. He was just so relaxed....
Until he felt small arms claspe around him from behind. His eyes popped open as they rose to the serface. He hesitated, then stood in the water. He was over six foot and the water this close to the bank was only up to his stomach. He stood up, feeling the arms around him unclasp as he looked over his shoulder down to see his 'rescuer'.
Huh...huh wait wait?! Julia gasped slightly as she saw the man recover slight easily...wasn't... he just drowning? She fell back into the water, standing up and the water coming right under her chest. She looked up to see the man looking down at her. He looked perfectly okay.
Valerius blinked turning around. What was that for? Why had she? Oh. Did it look like he was drowing? He hadn't thought anyone was there. He gave a slight confused smile,
"Uh... hello..."
Julia blinked, her face flushing with utter embarressment. How stupid! She should have just kept to herself!!! She instantly spoke,
"Oh...oh gosh, sorry... I thought-- you...were... drowning."
Valerius blinked. Yup. He rose a hand to the back of his neck, his usual stance when he was in akward siutaions.
"Oh. No... I ... I'm fine."
He looked back to the ground and climbed back up, holding a hand out to her, forgeting he was half undressed.
Julia blushed with a slight 'oh' and grabbed his hand, his strength easily pulling her out. They were both soaking wet, finnaly the man noticed he was slightly underclothed. He grabbed his pants smilling apologetically as he spoke quickly almost embarressed.
"Uh yeah, sorry, I didn't think anyone was here..."
The woman wrung out her long black hair, folding her arms glancing at her horse as he rushed and put his clothes back on.
"Oh no, it's...it's okay- I shouldn't have... Um... I'm Julia."
Julia stuck out her hand, feeling embarressed for the whole thing.
Valerius smiled friendly takeing her small hand in his.
"Val-- uh sorry I scared you. It's...been a long day."
Valerius glanced to the horse before looking down at Julia not even noticeing that he just called himself 'Val'. Necro called him it so much now that he had got accustomed to the little nick name. Oh well a little nick name didn't hurt anyone... The latina smiled smally blurting out,
"Yeah, I can tell."
Valerius blinked the nodded slightly laughing. Julia blinked with a blank face then realised--
"Oh! No, no! I didn't mean it like--"
Valerius held up a hand,
"No, no it's okay."
He laughed friendly as Julia stood there in utter embarressment.
"Ugh, I'm..uh..--"
Julia started, but Valerius cut her off randomly,
"Is he yours?"
Julia glanced over to Baron then with a small smile nodded. She gave a long big whistle as the horse rose its head then started to trot around the lake to them. The horse made it over and nickered at Julia, wondering who the big man was beside her.
"Geeze, he's big."
"Yeah, not bigger then his ego."
The two laughed as the horse snorted. Julia sighed and walked over to her horse then to the man. She smiled smally then patted the horse. She swung herself onto the large beast, the horse snorting then stomping a foot. Valerius raised an eyebrow in impressment.
"You ride?"
Julia asked with a plesant tone, Valerius had already started to shake his head with a slight laugh,
"Me? Hah, oh no I'd fall off in an instant."
Julia giggled and rolled her eyes.
"You...uh...you should come to the stable's sometime. It's on castle grounds. But... bye."
Valerius hesiated, then nodded as the woman started to turn to walk away.
"Yeah...yeah sure, see ya."
They both smiled at eachother then Julia started to trot away.
Valerius blinked watching her leave, the water dripping down his face. He sighed glanceing down back into the river before smiling slightly back at the troting horse. He shook his head slightly with a slight laugh before he purposely fell back into the water. What a day....
[ I made this because I wanted to make it more dramatic for when Julia goes to see Sophie with Mark and then Valerius comes in and is like... Mark...? JULIA?]
